Product Introduction
This helical spiral cutter head is specially designed for woodworking planers, spindle moulders and thicknessers. Equipped with indexable carbide inserts arranged in a staggered spiral layout, it delivers stable, smooth cutting performance for solid wood, plywood, MDF and composite boards.
The spiral staggered cutting structure enables continuous shearing, effectively reducing cutting resistance, lowering machine vibration and minimizing noise during operation. Compared with traditional straight cutter blocks, it produces finer surface finish and fewer wood burrs.
Each square carbide insert features four usable cutting edges. Once one edge wears out, users can simply rotate or replace the insert individually, instead of sharpening the whole cutter body. This greatly saves maintenance time and long-term operating costs.
The cutter body adopts high-strength aluminum alloy with precision machining, lightweight yet rigid to avoid deformation under high-speed rotation. Multiple specifications of outer diameter, height and bore size are available to fit most mainstream woodworking machinery.
